Ferman Akgül's first solo album is coming out "YÜRÜYORUM İÇİMDE"

Ferman Akgül's first solo album is coming out on the 24th of March. MTV awarded singer/song writer Ferman Akgül will take his fans on a personal journey with his new album "Yürüyorum Içimde" (Walking inside 'myself').  With his new album Ferman introduces a new genre, alternative pop, to the Turkish audiences.

Ferman Akgül: "This album is a very personal experience for me. I have worked on it for the last 1,5 years writing songs and composing the music. It tells my story. The album mixes acoustic and electronic instruments, piano arrangements and electronic beats creating a new "alternative pop" sound. It is such an honour to be able to share with everyone and I hope you will like it."

The album is released by EMI-Universal Turkey in collaboration with Ferman's own label 06 Records. 11 strong songs will be released for pre-sale on Itunes on the 10th of March. The first single and video will be released on the 17th of March on all digital platforms and Ferman's VEVO channel before the full album goes on sale on the 24^th of March, digitally and in stores around Turkey.

8 songs are written and composed by Ferman Akgül. 2 songs are composed by up- and coming Dutch producer Ufuk Özcan. The album has two surprises in store for fans; legendary Turkish producer and drummer Iskender Paydaş makes an appearance on drums on the song "Düş Sırtında" and Ferman's band member from maNga play the album's only rock song "Bana Gel".

Ferman's first two singles "İstemem Söz Sevmeni" and "Dırdır" featuring famous French football player, Pascal Nouma,  both topped the hit lists and  garnered 10 millions of views on Youtube.

On Tour

Ferman Akgül: "While I am very excited to be releasing the album, the thing I look most forward to is going on tour, playing my music and meeting my fans. I will start a Turkey tour this March all around Turkey both with my band maNga and solo concerts. Please follow my website and social media accounts for dates".

About the Album

The album was produced parts in the Netherlands at the Whitehouse studio and parts in maNga's studio stüdyoN  in Istanbul. As a part of the mission statement for 06 Records, Ferman has been working with young up- and coming talents in music, production and design, Ufuk Özcan, Sertan İpek ve Egemen Özkasnaklı, on creating the album and the art work.   The mix mastering was done by Aziz Berk Erten and Sterling Sound's Steve Fallone. The album photography was captured by renowned Turkish photographer Ahmet Erdem.

The album will be released in three stages:

• 10th of March - Pre sale on Itunes
• 17th of March - First single and video
• 24th of March - Album release on all digital platforms and in stores
